Senior Manager, HRBP - NA Aerosol and Beverage

The HR Business Partner is responsible for driving and aligning business objectives and HR priorities for our North America Aerosol and Beverage operations. In this position, the HR Business Partner will work closely with the NA A&B and plant leadership teams to develop and drive HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

•    Serve as an advisor by appropriately challenging senior leaders while maintaining strong business partnership and relationships
•    Shape the NA A&B HR strategy by helping leaders to identify, prioritize, and build capabilities, behaviors, processes in alignment with business goals
•    Support cross functional projects by providing HR subject matter expertise•    Counsel senior managers regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitation of formal/unformal complaints to resolution, discipline and or terminations in line with legal environment
•    Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
•    Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g. coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
•    Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build positive Trivium culture, and increase productivity and retention.
•    Identifies training needs for the region and participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. 
•    Development of effective long term-staffing plans to hire the right people in the right jobs at the right time.
•    Promotes and drives projects contributing to the performance of the HR department and/or creating value for the company in the plant (e.g. Opex programs).
•    Provides data and analytics to identify issues, opportunities and organizational trends related to human resources.   
•    Implement Trivium global/regional policies and develop and implement standardized policies and relevant procedures, together with other HR leaders in the country and Division.

 

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
•    BA/BS degree preferred•    10 years of related experience, including strategic support of senior executives aligning Human Resources strategies with business priorities.
•    Recent experience operating within a complex global matrix organisation, working collaboratively across an international network.
•    Strategic thinker with an ability to be hands-on in the implementation of the proposed tools and processes.
•    Ability to lead people toward meeting the organization’s vision, mission, and goals.
•    Proven record of accomplishment in conflict management, leveraging diversity, developing others, and team building.
•    Demonstrated strong business acumen. Knowledge of multiple businesses, functions and processes and proven track record to positively impact business results.
•    Experience in successfully leading and managing in an environment undergoing change and transformation.
•    Ability to develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
