Job Summary:

The Manager of Corporate Accounting is responsible for supporting the HFM systems, driving the close process, analyzing results, and the preparation of financial reports as required by Senior Management to effectively operate the Americas BUs (F&S and AAB) while also ensuring that Group financial requirements are timely and accurately met. Controllership of the Americas SG&A analysis and reporting on expenses, headcount and metrics.  Lead support to all AAB BU financial requirements including the close process, forecasting, budgeting and 5YR Plan.  This will require significant interaction with all levels of the Americas Management team and plant operations.

 

 

Job Duties:

  • Manage the maintenance, support and process improvements of the HFM systems (Exal and Trivium) for the Americas; Includes managing relationship with external support and Group (Trivium)
  • Manage the preparation of timely monthly financial reporting for the Americas and Group, includes Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and financial metrics for the Americas BUs and Plants
  • Controllership of Americas SG&A, analysis, reporting and metrics of expenses and headcount; Lead financial analysis and support to Americas functional leaders with a focus on IT, HR and Commercial; Finance liaison to IT (monthly expense and capex project oversight and analysis, forecasting and budgeting)
  • Co-Lead analysis of AAB BU monthly financials, key performance indicators and explanations of key variances;  Preparation of financial performance pack for Group, Americas and AAB Senior Management
  • Lead support of the AAB BU month end closing activities
  • Lead support of the AAB BU forecast, budget and 5YR Plan
  • Americas Finance Liaison to the Power BI project
  • Co-manage completion of all Corporate Financial requirements for AAB BU as requested by Group and PWC; Ensure financial reports compliant and contain appropriate disclosures
  • Co-lead AAB BU development and implementation of improved processes and controls within finance as it relates to accounting and FP&A
  • Co-Lead management of key performance indicators (financial and operational)
  • Ad-hoc projects and other assignments as directed by the Director of FP&A for AGAB.
  • Coordination of certain activities with the Director of FP&A for AGAB

 

 

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 7-15 years’ experience in accounting / financial reporting & analysis
  • Significant ERP experience required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, mastery of Excel
  • ERP experience required; SAP preferred
  • Consolidation system experience; HFM preferred
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, hands-on, results oriented style
  • Strong service orientation and ability to work as a team with all levels of management.
  • Thorough, highly organized and efficient work habits
  • Ability to proactively address and solve problems
  • Ability to challenge the status-quo while effectively working in multiple team-based environments
  • Balance detail orientation with “big picture” understanding of the business
  • Ability to travel as needed to plant/corporate locations, less than 20% of time
  • CPA, CMA, or Graduate Degree preferable
  • Prior experience within the Manufacturing industry
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience with HFM
  • Experience with SOX compliance requirements

 

 

Work Environment:

This position will primarily work remotely or in an office environment where sitting for prolong periods of time and using a computer, telephone and other office electronics are critical. This position will occasionally travel to other plant or office locations.
