Position Overview
The Multi-Site Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for the effective deployment of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement for several EU locations. This position will collaborate with local site management to grow profitability by improving operations overall. This position is accountable for improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. This position is tasked with building and/or aligning our local CI programs to take them to the next level while ensuring they meet overall Trivium priorities. The role will help facilitate a continuous improvement process to streamline and document our current ad-hoc systems into a unified program. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of implementing a Lean Transformation within an existing organization.
Responsibilities
• Assess the current situation of individual sites regarding Safety, People Engagement, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and other aspects of the operation.
• Based on such assessment, develop a plan to improve performance into a World Class Manufacturing Operation.
• Collaborate with local management to fine-tune and execute the plan. Provide constant follow-up and coaching.
• Develop and implement documented procedures, quality standards, 5S assessments, Gemba walks, etc. to improve Operations and overall performance.
• Develop and impart training in all Lean topics as necessary.
• Coach team through Problem Solving process.
• Periodically report status of progress and operations to executive leadership.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (Engineering, Business, Management, Etc.)
• Five to eight years of related experience required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability travel up to 80-100%
• Must have previous experience driving continuous improvement programs.
• Formal training in Lean Manufacturing is a plus.

The Continuous Improvement Manager will report directly to the BU GM and dotted line to the VP Operations & Supply Chain AGAB and will provide functional operations excellence leadership for several locations throughout Europe (EAB plants: Hungary, France, Germany, Italy, Spain).
