Role description;
Technology transformation leadership role overseeing multiple infrastructural and organisational change projects. As part of the it 2025 strategy the infrastructure and operations department is going through significant changes and consists of (at least) the following projects;
-    several infrastructural projects to replace global legacy infrastructure with new innovative solutions
-    organizational change, building high performance global teams
-    operational and process improvements
-    outsourcing engagements.

 

This role reports directly to the director global infrastructure & operations and will oversee the collective program, actively steer progress, manage overall communications and has a strong focus on change management. This role also has a dotted line in the trivium it pmo

 

Key responsibilities;

  •     Manages, as part of a program, the individual projects running infrastructure & operations is the primary stakeholder.
  •     Actively manages all stakeholders, risks and issues within the program.
  •     Reports progress on a regular basis on the progress to the stakeholders following the it pmo policies and procedures.
  •     Actively manages the overall capex budget.
  •     Promotes and stimulates a changes-ready and can-do mindset at all levels within infrastructure & operations.
  •     Creates and manages the overall program communication plan to create to secure change readiness & adoption across the organization.
  •     Acts as a role model and actively coaches and develops the projectmanagers within the program.

Requirements for the job;
Education & training:

  •     a bachelor or masters degree.
  •     knowledge of it frameworks like itil v3, agile, leanit, sixsigma or equivalent
  •     knowledge of security and compliance frameworks
  •     good knowledge of it shared services models
  •    strong business acumen

 

Experience:

  •     Proven experience in managing change programs (not restricted to only technical projects)
  •     Minimum 10 years relevant working experience and broad understanding of it systems and services.
  •     Proven experience with change in global enterprises
  •     Knowledge of operating models and process design.
  •     Experience with delivering it services through internal resources and external sourcing partners.
  •    Experience in international industrial / manufacturing organizations

 

Competencies:

  •     The ability to speak and write english on a professional level.
  •     Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  •     Ability to interact with business and it leaders and able to interact at all levels of organization
  •     Experience at managing global virtual teams from different cultural backgrounds
  •     Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including influencing, consulting, negotiation, and the agility to lead and drive complex and critical solutions while adapting to changing priorities
