Senior Learning & Development Specialist (Design & Training Delivery)

As our Senior Learning & Development Specialist, you will design and deliver interactive face‑to‑face and virtual live trainings, manage programs end‑to‑end, and partner with SMEs and stakeholders to create learning solutions using “mainly internal resources” 


Contract Details

  • Duration: 1 April 2026 – 31 March 2027
  • Workload: 32-40hrs per week 

Objective

  • Design and deliver interactive F2F and live virtual training.
  • Manage programs end‑to‑end.
  • Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to create learning solutions using internal resources only.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs analysis and design learner‑centric training solutions.
  • Partner with SMEs to convert learning needs into interactive learning solutions (F2F or virtual).
  • Design training materials and activities without external providers.
  • Facilitate engaging F2F and virtual sessions (Teams).
  • Manage program operations: timelines, enrollment, communications, materials, reporting.
  • Support business stakeholders with learning requests.
  • Lead a team of two L&D members supporting Global L&D.

Qualifications

  • Degree in EducationAdult LearningHRD, or Instructional Design (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–7 years in L&D with proven facilitation, training design examples, and program management.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills (PowerPoint, Teams, Excel).
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Ability to operate with limited external resources; creative, pragmatic problem‑solver.
