Role description
The manager cloud coe is responsible for setting up, governing and managing the trivium cloud infrastructure. This includes the technical infrastructure (predominantly ms based) both in cloud as well as on the hyperconverged on premise azure stack.

 

The global operations, governance and security are carried out under the supervision of the manager through a mix of internal and external sourcing partners.
The manager is responsible for the full design, build and run phase across the entire lifecycle of the solution.Following the trivium cloud first policy, the manager also keeps the oversight of the overall performance from a user perspective and drives continuous improvement in terms of service levels, performance, reliability and costs.The manager is also responsible for setting/coaching the team to realize the trivium cloud objectives.


Key responsibilities;

  •     Setting up a global coe for cloud support and operations, with the relevant roles/responsibilities to guarantee seamless 24/7 operations in all timezones
  •     Accountable for level 1, 2 and 3 support including vendor escalations.
  •     Accountable for the design of our azure landing zone, the interconnectivity to/from and automation, applying innovative thinking and secure-by-design principles to continuously meet business demands.
  •     Following our cloud strategy, actively engage in cloud migration projects from on-prem to cloud.
  •     Accountable for ensuring the day-to-day operational delivery of the respective solutions, either through internal teams or by using strategic sourcing partners.
  •     Hires, trains, assigns work, evaluates, and manages performance, determines compensation of staff in line with our strategic objectives and company policies.
  •     Pro-actively manages all stakeholders.
  •     Communicates timely and clearly on issues, incidents and progress in ongoing projects and agreed deliverables.
  •     For all staff directly reporting to this position, develops strategic and operating plans, goals, objectives, priorities and procedures that are in alignment with the strategic goals and objectives of the department.
  •     Working in collaboration with other it functions to ensure continued delivery against agreed slas
  •     Plans and manages department level and capital budgets. Ensures expenditures are appropriate and within approved budget. Participates in financial planning and monitoring.
  •     Work actively with peers to seek continuous improvement in the overall it performance.
  •     Takes accountability for the performance of all suppliers, vendors and strategic partners within the cloud domain and actively manages the relationships.
  •     Acts as management point of escalation and takes ownership to drive priority 1 incidents within it

Requirements for the job;
Education & training:

  •    a bachelor or masters degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline
  •    knowledge of it frameworks like itil v3/v4, agile and project management methodologies
  •     knowledge of security and compliance frameworks
  •     good knowledge of it shared services models
  •     knowledge of setting up and running a cloud coe, azure landingzone, azure stack hci
  •     knowledge of ot related end user devices and security services in azure.
  •     knowledge of automation in cloud environments, containerization, devops models

 

Experience:

  •     a track record to design, implement and support cloud platforms and services and vendor relationships of large multi-million-euro contracts for at least 5 years in similar roles
  •     knowledge and experience of managing it operations within a manufacturing environment.
  •     A proven track record in continuous improvement of it services with clear business benefits
  •     strong standardization, outsourcing and vendor management experience.
  •     Demonstrated ability to inspire, develop, coach and mentor team members to achieve results.
  •     Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and report against set service improvement and transition targets.
  •     Experience in planning and execute technology projects and system implementation effectively in a manufacturing plant and offices.
  •     Experience in testing/validation of new solutions, upgrades, patches in a global organization with a divers landscape.
  •     Experienced working with it ticketing system such as servicenow or remedy

  •     Experience at managing global virtual teams from different cultural backgrounds.
