The Opportunity

We are seeking a Consolidation Manager to assist in the preparation and coordination of the Group consolidated results of Trivium Packaging, consisting of ~50 facilities across 21 countries based on HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), and to ensure a timely, accurate and efficient consolidation process. Your role will be part of the team who prepares the monthly consolidated closing and support the delivery of both monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external reporting deliverables for Trivium Packaging. This is an important global role in the Group Finance function and works closely with other Group Finance staff, Group Treasury, Group Tax and other colleagues within Trivium Packaging.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute significantly to the preparation of internal reporting deliverables namely: Flash reporting, Executive Committee pack, Management accounts and supporting analysis.
  • Actively participate in the preparation of quarterly bond reports and annual accounts.
  • Contribute to the consolidation and presentation of budget and quarterly reforecasts.
  • Work closely with the various central and divisional finance teams in the Group around the monthly and quarterly close process.
  • Prepare technical accounting papers.
  • Provision of support and analysis both in advance of and during the quarter and year end external reporting processes.
  • Perform and present analysis on Trivium Group Key Performance Indicators.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with other Group functions (FP&A, Tax, Treasury), as well as Trivium divisional and country finance teams to ensure that consolidated financial information is provided on a timely basis and to the highest possible standard.
  • Take ownership of additional ad hoc projects to support the Group and Group Finance function.
  • Assist with external audit queries and requests for the Group.
  • Continuously contribute to the evolution of the Trivium Group consolidation process.

 

Key Skills and Experience  

  • A Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Extensive Big 4 experience and/or experience in an international consolidation environment preferably in a manufacturing business.
  • Experience in a Close Process within a multi-national Group function preferable.
  • Exposure to a multi-currency consolidation.
  • Exposure to an annual Budgeting process.
  • Strong understanding of reporting systems is preferable (HFM & SAP).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting issues.
  • Highly motivated with excellent initiative, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, manage workload efficiently and effectively and to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Energetic, self-motivation and the ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Detail oriented, flexible with can do attitude.
