We’re looking for an experience technology leader. The Global IT Technology Operations Director leads a team in the Global Applications and Data Solutions department supporting our primary business applications, including our SAP platform. The manager drives the stability, reliability, and operational excellence of Trivium’s core SAP and other enterprise applications. This includes strong collaboration with the Business technology teams (functional support), infrastructure and various Centers of Excellence on Data, AI & Software Development. The manager translates the ambitions and strategic decisions into team-level reality, ensuring alignment and synergy across all levels. 

The director is responsible for providing a solid foundation for Trivium’s application landscape, in and outside of his team. Technical infrastructure is managed to meet business requirements, and support is setup in a scalable setup (nearshore/offshore) with a focus on business continuity and adaptability. The manager defines and drives Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices across all IT teams, ensuring end-to-end ownership, independence, scalability, business continuity, and business alignment for all technology solutions. Also he/she manages the enterprise vendors, and facilitates integration and carve-out plans for M&A activities.

Key Responsibilities 

Lead Technology Enablement:
•    Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of Architecture and Application Lifecycle Management inside and outside the Technology enablement teams
•    Create and drive a culture of ownership, transparency, and accountability within and throughout the various technology teams.
•    Promote knowledge sharing, skill development, and a collaborative, fully transparent, feedback-driven culture.
•    Grow digital adoption (AI, Data, Automation) across Technology Enablement and Business Technology teams

Strategic Partnerships:
•    Serve as a strategic partner to other functions and teams, ensuring IT foundations proactively support evolving needs and maximize value of our investments
•    Build centralized scalable (3rd party) services to support our business technology teams and ensure business continuity of our systems

Technology Operations & Architecture:
•    Oversee technical backbone and foundational platforms, including cloud infrastructure, API management, integrations, OT setup and data and AI solutions to support business solutions
•    Ensure technology operations teams empower other teams with the right tools, processes, and standards while keeping them as independent as possible.

Governance & Compliance:
•    Ensure all technology solutions adhere to Trivium’s information security, enterprise architecture, and compliance standards, including GDPR, Data Governance and our IT Controls Framework.
•    Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to cross team solutions, technology foundations and ALM.

Education & Training:
•    Technical master’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or related field (preferred).
•    Deep understanding of modern (cloud) technology platforms including SAP and support process.

Experience: 
•    Technology Management: Minimum 10 years working experience in strategic functions in support and/or Application Lifecycle Management.
