Job Summary

Reporting to the HR Director South America, this role will serve as the HR Leader for the Brazil Business Unit. This position acts as a trusted coach and advisor to frontline managers, partnering closely with business leaders to identify performance gaps and develop effective, people-focused solutions. The role provides strategic insight across key HR areas, including organizational assessment and talent planning, and plays a critical part in driving improvements in employee engagement, retention, DE&I, and overall culture. In addition, this position supports organizational design during periods of growth by analyzing future workforce needs and identifying capability gaps. The role also ensures the effective execution of core HR operations, including payroll, benefits, union interactions, and labor relations.


Responsibilities 

  • Execute the HR strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives, organizational culture and corporate & local labor policies.
  • Support the site leadership team  (SLT) for People & Culture related matters.
    Ensure the execution and delivery of the talent management agenda including talent acquisition, attrition strategies, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, and capability building programs.
  • Foster a positive organizational climate through effective wellbeing and employee engagement initiatives and action plan.
  • Promote and implement a Diverse, Equity and Inclusion  DEI Agenda.
  • Ensure the execution of the compensation and benefits programs aligned to corporate policies, as well as local best practices and market trends. Provide guidance on compensation and benefits, including salary reviews, benchmarking, internal equity analysis, and communication of total rewards programs.
  • Define the Employee Relations agenda and union management.
  • Ensure compliance in all HR Operations such us payroll, personal administration, governance of HR policies, procedures, and compliance with labor laws and internal standards. 
  • Promote a data-driven HR culture with HR analytics and dashboards to support decision-making, monitor KPIs, and corporate reporting.
  • Responsible for Budget management, and all financial figures and strategies related to HR Budget, Manpower Costs and Labor productivities initiatives. 

 

Education and Experience

  • 10 years of progressive HR experience partnering with business leaders in complex, ideally multi-site or international environments
  • Proven ability to coach managers on employee relations, including performance management, conflict resolution, and compliance
  • Broad HR leadership experience across areas such as labor/union relations, talent management, payroll, and organizational development
  • Demonstrated success in leading change and supporting organizational transformation
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing across levels and working with global teams
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive practical, data-informed solutions
