Summary:
We are looking for a results-oriented  Sales & Operations Planning Manager to identify and manage the resources for Trivium’s North American Food and Specialties (F&S) needs to drive our vision and successfully meet our customer’s needs. The Sales & Operations Planning Manager is a member of America’s Procurement & Supply Chain team, and reports to the Director of Supply Chain, F & S. In the role, the individual will work closely with Procurement, Finance, Commercial, Engineering and Operations teams across Trivium to maintain a harmonious business rhythm division wide.   This role will be tasked to assess and manage risks to supply chain processes due to potential disruptions or variances.  They will monitor and adjust supply chain activities to meet changing market conditions, new business opportunities or cost reduction strategies.  

Responsibilities:
•    Own end to end supply planning and distribution to ensure uninterrupted product availability across the network while balancing customer demand, capacity constraints, and cost. Stay informed of market trends, demand shifts, and internal constraints to anticipate risks and adjust supply plans proactively. 
•     Identify, analyze, and resolve all supply gaps; proactively escalate risks and constraints as needed to ensure continuity of supply. 
•     Lead root cause problem solving (RCPA) for supply, inventory, and service issues to prevent recurrence and improve future supply performance. 
•     Own and lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring cross functional alignment between commercial, operations, procurement, engineering, finance, and customer service. 
•     Track, monitor, and optimize inventory levels across all plants and warehouses to ensure safety stock targets are met without holding excess inventory. 
•     Manage and project manage initiatives to reduce slow moving and obsolete inventory, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans. 
•    Coordinate distribution planning across the network to ensure the right inventory is positioned at the right locations at the right time to meet customer demand. 
•     Identify and drive cost savings opportunities across supply, inventory, production, and distribution through process improvements and optimization initiatives. 
•    Partner closely with procurement, warehousing, and logistics to ensure the right materials, transportation lanes, and warehouse capacity are planned and available to support supply and distribution requirements.
•    Project manage all production transitions, including new product introductions, product transfers, and product obsolescence. 
•    Monitor and report on supply performance metrics, including inventory health, service levels, and delivery performance. 
•    Ensure robust business continuity and risk management plans are in place, including identification of supply chain risks, mitigation strategies, and contingency planning.
•     Develop strong, collaborative relationships with plant leadership and cross functional partners, working effectively across commercial, engineering, procurement, logistics, and customer service teams. 


Experience & Qualifications:
•    Minimum bachelor’s degree in supply-Chain Management; Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field
•    6-10 years of professional experience, with specific experience in Supplier or Customer Relationship Management, Procurement, and/or Supply Chain. 
•    Clear understanding of procurement and supply chain management principles and best practices.
•    Experience working in complex matrix environments, across functions and geography. 
•    Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, and ability to partner with senior executives and their teams.
•    Knowledge of production planning and understanding of inventory management as related of OCF. 
•    Experience independently building financial models, analyzing & combining data sources from multiple systems.
•    Experience with SAP ERP systems to enter and pull data to support analysis
•    Ability to accommodate travel up to 10%
