Description
The CAA reporting to the CFM will be a key point of contact for French Accounting and Compliance matters for the legal entity of Trivium in France. CAA will play an important role in supporting CFM to manage successfully statutory and fiscal accounting activities in addition to support full accuracy of activities processed for AP,AR and GL for France in the BSC in Budapest. The CAA will also work closely with the 8 France plants from Trivium as well as with Seafood BU Finance team.

Purpose of the job:
-Deal with accounting tasks centralised at country level ( According IFRS- standard: GL, Taxes and statutory accounts)
-Implement standard business tools, group policies and reporting at country and plant level
-Liaise with BSC in Budapest for AR, AP, FA, Cash and standard GL transactions
-Supporting for the preparation of monthly management reporting of operational performance
-Supporting Month End Closing process
-Prepare the statutory and fiscal yearly accounts under the supervision of the CFM for the French legal entities.
-Support the FR plants and plant controllers.
-Inform and align with BU Seafood/Group/EAA finance on key issues on pending projects in plants.
-Proactive approach towards BU’s and Group on upcoming areas of concern with financial impact.
Responsibility:
- Prepare and monitor accounting activities for the FR legal entity.
- Point of contact with the SSC in Budapest
- Cooperate with France accounting team.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and statutory accounts.
- Review the Master Files
- Review up to date Fixed Assets Registers (FAR), book the depreciation charge and reconcile GL to FAR
- Provide accurate and consistent financial information to ensure timely operational reporting on a monthly basis to be prepared by the plant controllers, FR management and BU Finance
- Monitor accounting work during Month End closing: manual accruals determination (in particular accruals), P&L review, etc …
- Liaise with plant controllers on preparation and maintenance of standard costing
- Coordinate stock counts together with plant controllers
- Periodic recharges and transfer pricing reviews
