The regional IT engineer looks after all Trivium locations in his/her respective region. The Regional IT engineer is the first point of IT contact for all local User questions, both IT and OT related.
Primary tasks are to provide support, assist users, support business processes through IT and deliver IT  services in accordance with company policies and guidelines. The Regional IT engineer also works actively with central infrastructure, application and security teams as needed. Next to the regional responsibilities, the Senior Engineer will actively contribute to / advocate the Trivium Enterprise Architecture as well as Information security Principles. 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Responsible for providing first and second level support and continuous improvement of IT and OT services.
•    Provide general IT support and serve as a single point of contact for multiple locations and users.
•    Monitors and maintains computer systems.
•    Act as a key contributor to ensure successful deployment of onsite (IT) projects.
•    Troubleshoot problems and (as needed) coordinate/assist in remediative activities.
•    Act as IT keyperson for communication between the regional users/location and other IT functions.

 

Key Qualifications:
•    Good understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and principles (examples network topologies/technologies, Servers and applications)
•    Broad knowledge of supporting Microsoft and its interconnection products (Office 365, OneDrive, Win10, Win11, Active Directory, server 2012-2022, remote desktop, terminal server, virtualization).
•    Excellent knowledge in supporting hardware (laptops, desktops, mobile phone and printers).
•    Working knowledge of Active Directory and Entra-ID
•    Broad knowledge of technical best practices to plan and deploy new solutions.

Education & Training:
•    Advanced graduate degree and excellent academic record (e.g. Master) Relevant domain certifications
•    Educational background and experience in IT/OT, Security, and Solution Engineering in Enterprise environments
•    Strong English verbal and written presentation skills (add another language according to the country)
•    Strong skills in stakeholder management, influencing, and Communication
•    Requirements management and development
•    A valid driver's license and ability to travel to all sites within the region when required
 

Experience: 
•    3+ years of relevant industry experience with a focus in manufacturing environments and systems is preferred.
•    Experience working in an IT ticketing system such as ServiceNow is preferred.
•    Ability to work in a collaborative global team.
•    Natural problem solver with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
