Job Summary:

Reporting to the VP of HR and dotted line to Brazil General manager, this role will serve as the HR Leader for Brazil Business Unit. This role will act as a coach and an advisor to front line managers. In partnership with their leaders, will identify performance gaps and develop and support solutions. This role will and provide insight on people related solutions, including organization assessment, and talent planning. They will help to drive improvement in associate engagement/retention, DE&I, and culture. Also, this role will be a fundamental support in designing organization trough growth, analyzing future needs and performance gaps regarding to resources.  Also, this role needs to assure the day-to-day tasks as payroll, benefits, union and labor relations.

 

Job Duties:

  • Talent Developer: lead organization and talent processes within the BU. You will thoroughly know the talent, advocate, and champion talent moves, support the development of future leaders, cultivate and attract external candidates.
  • Consultant & Coach: based on the deep knowledge of the people and the talent and organization priorities, provides counsel to their people leaders and teams. Ensures compliance with employee-related local law, HR & Company policies. Champions Trivium culture and sets the tone to foster positive associate relations.
  • Process Execution: understand and interpret key HR KPI’s. Develop action plans and countermeasures to address any gaps.
  • Employee Advocate. Act as an advocate for Trivium driving positive employee relations, supporting issues resolution, and building an impactful associate experience.
  • Keep the Union relations in a good way, ensuring the annual agreements, negotiating daily tasks, and maintain partnership with them to avoid issues.
  • Manage Labor Claims. Work with legal department to assure best decisions and also work to prevent/reduce labor claims.
  • Manage programs and compensation systems, promoting innovations in this area continuously.  Ensure the attraction and retention of human resources, also guarantee the cost-benefit balance for the Company.
  • Manage the activities of internal communication and corporate communication. Participate in corporate campaigns.
  • Manage events regarding to the BU as townhalls, open houses, special dates celebrations, company anniversaries and others.
  • Act as a real leader od Engagement survey. Lead the process, understand gaps and propose solutions in order to active the company goals for engagement survey.
  • Manage third part service.
  • Manage people development and succession planning. Provide the necessary tools for making decisions on human resources in the organization, ensuring a consistent approach to their treatment; ensure replacements in key positions.
  • Manage policies and training programs. Ensure the Group's strategy to develop the skills and competencies aligned with organizational goals. Ensure that trainings fit the budget and schedule for the BU.
  • Perform searching & hunting of candidates to assure Talent Acquisition for the company. Provide professionals with the right profiles defined by the line skills, trying to optimize the time and cost of processes and the development of human potential.
  • Active participation in activities with the top management that involves any aspect between business and labor relations, organizational changes, etc. Anticipate and correct deviations and decide the development and implementation of the needs of the business.
  • Coach managers and supervisors on personnel situations and maintain credible relationships towards a work environment with high morale, low employee turnover and high productivity.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business objectives of the company.
  • Drive compliance with company policies and global procedures across service operations.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for HR service team members.
  • Able to think strategically beyond tactical execution; strong analytical problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Lead HR team of Brazil.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • 10 years of HR experience supporting people leaders and associates preferably in diverse industries
  • Previous experience coaching and supporting managers to enable an environment that supports a culture that enhances engagement, embraces our DE&I philosophies and fosters inclusion. This includes coaching on employee relations matters including performance issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in compliance with company policy and legal requirements
  • Change Management experience.
  • Leadership experience in the Human Resources field, owning diverse areas as payroll, union relations, training & development, recruitment, communication, talent management, performance management, labor relations, benefits, and others.
  • Ability to lead organization transformation projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills, sensitive to data and detail orientated
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with people management
