Plant Manager Fiorenzuola

Purpose of the role

The Plant Manager oversees all daily operations within the factory. This role ensures that

production runs efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company goals. The plant manager is

responsible for leading teams, optimizing processes, and maintaining high standards of quality

and safety.

 

Dimensions of job / Responsibilities

· Operational Oversight:

· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

· Manage daily plant operations including production, maintenance, quality control,

and logistics.

· Monitor and improve workflow

· Strategic Planning:

· Develop and implement plant policies and procedures.

· Align plant operations with broader corporate objectives.

· Plan and manage budgets, resources, and schedules.

· Process Improvement:

· Analyze data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.

· Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing practices.

· Maintain high safety and quality standards.

· Budget & Cost Control:

· Prepare annual budgets, monitor expenses, and find cost savings without

compromising safety or quality. Take strategic decisions about staffing,

maintenance, and equipment.

· Communication & Reporting:

· Coordinate with other departments and senior management.

· Prepare reports on plant performance and present findings to broader corporate.

· Resolve conflicts and ensure smooth interdepartmental cooperation.

· Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Engineering,

or related field.

 

· Experience:

· 5–10 years in manufacturing or plant operations.

· 3-5 years management experience in an operating processing plant environment

 

· Skills:

· Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office and production management software.

· Fluency in English

· Knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning, and resource allocation.

· Familiarity with safety, quality, inventory, and productivity processes

· Must have previous experience in metal (or at least paper) decoration
