Job Title: IT Regional Support Engineer

Role Description:
The core responsibility of the Regional Support Engineer is to take care of the day-to-day operation, end users support, and maintenance of the regional Infrastructure devices and applications. The person is the key interface with the plant’s management and is responsible to ensure the IT solution deployed on location is relevant for the business, focusing on user experience while conforming to all central IT standards.
You will report to the IT Service Delivery Manager NL/UK.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for providing first and second level support and continuous improvement of IT and OT (Operational Technolog) services.
• Provide general IT support and serve as a single point of contact for multiple locations and users.
• Monitors and maintains computer systems.
• Act as a key contributor to ensure successful deployment of onsite (IT) projects.
• Trouble shoot problems and equipment repair and replacement.
• Act as Local IT keyperson for communication between the production location and IT
• Perform all other job duties as assigned.
Experience:
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience with a focus in manufacturing environments and systems is preferred.
• Experience working in an IT ticketing system such as ServiceNow or Remedy is preferred.
• Ability to work in a collaborative global team.
• Natural problem solver with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
Skills:
• Good understanding and supporting of basic network topology, switching in warehouse/plant operating environment, access points, IP, and DNS routing.
• Excellent knowledge in supporting Microsoft and its interconnection products (Office 365, OneDrive, Win10, Active Directory, server 2012-2019, remote desktop, terminal server, virtualization).
• Excellent knowledge in supporting hardware (laptops, desktops, and printers).
• Ability to administer and set up domains, group policy, and users in Active Directory.
• Broad knowledge of technical best practices to plan and deploy new solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch (must have) and English

• Sound understanding of IT best practices and ability to learn.
• Ability to work in an IT ticketing system such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
• Approachable, friendly, and accountable, with a focus on business continuity and impact.

• A valid driver's license and ability to travel to other NL (Netherlands) sites when required.
