Talent Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Development Manager who excels in both Learning and Development (L&D) and Talent Development (TD) to join our growing team. This multifaceted role will require a strategic thinker with a proven track record in fostering employee growth, managing talent pipelines, and enhancing overall organizational performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of L&D/TD expertise and TA acumen, enabling them to optimize our talent management processes and contribute to the achievement of our company's goals.

 

Learning and Development:

  • Design and implement comprehensive learning and development strategies aligned with the company's objectives to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
  • Collaborate with department heads, team leads and HR to identify training needs, create development plans, and deliver targeted learning initiatives.
  • Functional key contributor in the design and execution of the divisional sourcing strategies to identify and attract both passive and active candidates through existing and new resources.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in L&D to continuously innovate and enhance the organization's development programs.
  • Serves as a liaison between Group international HR/Recruiting/Comp and the NA region to oversee the creation of engaging training materials, resources, and content to support various learning programs..
  • Coordinate trainings for all NA locations to ensure compliance.
  • Supports Succession Planning process, Annual Performance Review process, performance management systems and reporting.
  • Oversees and facilitates internship programs with support from functional managers.
  • Leads diversity and inclusion efforts, including compliance tracking, as part of the overall recruitment and retention strategy.
  • Assists with and promotes employer branding as a means for attracting right-fit candidates.

 
Talent Development:

  • Implement career development plans and pathways to enable employees to enhance their skills and pursue growth opportunities.
  • Mentor and guide managers in conducting effective performance evaluations, goal-setting, and development conversations with their teams.
  • Collaborate with HR to identify high-potential employees and create tailored development plans to nurture their talents.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting self-directed learning, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional training.
  • Identify and leverage internal subject-matter experts to create peer-to-peer learning opportunities and maximize internal expertise.

 

Talent Acquisition:

  • Implement creative and effective recruitment sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent, utilizing and managing various channels for North America such as job boards, social media, and industry networking events.
  • Building strategic pipeline through continuous networking, candidate engagement, and relationship management.
  • Empower team to focus on the candidate’s experience and develops new methodologies and innovative sourcing approaches by providing guidance, tools and resources.
  • Influence change and drive change management for new solutions/ new ways of approaching sourcing and technology within the recruitment process.
  • Monitors and tracks application status and metrics and reports out on weekly recruitments changes.

 

Qualifications and Experience Requirements: 

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Talent Development/Management, L&D or Human Resource roles .
  • Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition and best recruitment practices
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business related focus preferred.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing organizations preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Flexible; team player; self-starter; self-motivated.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems – Preferably ADP and/or SAP SuccessFactors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
