Job Summary:

The SAP Solutions & Integrations Analyst is responsible for the design, operation, support, and on-going optimization of Trivium’s global SAP system integrations. This role, together with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure team supports and ensures the integration of all systems.

 

In addition, is responsible for EDI activities, SQL database management and for managing all Middleware applications such as Biztalk, SSI, SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI and SAP Business Connector.

 

This role, in collaboration with the SAP COE, IT team, and external parties, ensures that Trivium business processes are properly supported and minimize business disruptions.

 

Job Duties:

  • Support Trivium’s Global IT Business Systems roadmap for SAP.
  • Analyzing business requirements and providing functional and technical design solutions for SAP PI/PO integration projects (application, data, processes, etc.).
  • Developing interfaces using various integration technologies like IDOC, iFlows, SOAP, REST, RFC, Proxy, File, EDI, JDBC, BAPI, etc.
  • Support the development of reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflow with 3rd parties.
  • Monitor, manage, and support EDI activities, SQL database management and all Middleware applications.
  • Configuring SAP PI/PO components (like Integration Builder, Integration Directory, Runtime Workbench, etc.); or SAP CPI components (like Integration Flow, iFlows, Integration Packages, etc.)
  • Developing custom Java/ABAP mappings, adapters, and user-defined functions.
  • Performing unit and integration testing of the interfaces to ensure they are working as per the functional requirements.
  • Troubleshooting errors in the interfaces and providing support during the go live or BAU.
  • Working closely with the technical and functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of the SAP PI/PO integration projects.
  • Providing training to the users on SAP PI/PO interfaces and processes.
  • Developing and maintaining operational and technical documentation of the interfaces.
  • Managing multiple SAP PI/PO projects, effectively coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Project Management / Run tasks in other’s projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT related equivalent
  • Relevant SAP training & courses.
  • Project / Program Management is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (written / spoken).
  • Experience +5 years in SAP.
  • Experience +5 manufacturing company.
  • Sound knowledge of SAP, and Middleware. A working knowledge of business, risk and security technologies covering corporate and digital ecosystem networks.
  • Experience with interfacing (XI/PI/CPI/EDI) from and to SAP and with opening data to other systems.
  • Proven track record and experience in developing SAP practices and procedures, as well as successfully executing integration projects that meet the objectives of excellence in a dynamic cross-business environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of methodologies and trends in SAP environment.
  • Preferably experience with SAP S/4 Hana strategy and migration.
  • Knowledge of SAP security and Identity & Access Management is an advantage.

 

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Lean methodology is an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Work Environment:

This position will primarily work in a manufacturing environment where moving machinery produces noise. In addition, working at an office desk and using a computer, telephone and other office electronics are critical. This position will occasionally travel to other plant or office locations.
