Job Summary
The Data Analyst will be a member of the Supply Chain team and will be responsible for creating models, analyzing, maintaining and ensuring accurate data in SAP and other systems. This role will support the broader supply organization creating/providing the necessary tools to ensure data integrity, enabling effective planning, and facilitating smooth coordination across procurement, production, and logistics. The ideal candidate will be experience in data engineering, linear programming and have strong attention to detail, experience with ERP and supply chain planning systems, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Job Duties:
- Ability to create complex models including mid-level programming expertise
- Enter, maintain and analyse accurate data in our ERP (SAP) and planning software related to metal receipts and processing activities at toll coaters, ensuring timely updates to support inventory visibility and production planning.
- Enter, maintain and analyze customer forecast information in the planning software to support accurate demand planning and alignment with production and procurement activities.
- Collect, clean, validate, and integrate data from ERP, planning, and external sources; apply business rules and quality checks to ensure a single, trusted source of truth for analysis and reporting.
- Analyze data using statistical methods and deliver actionable insights to support data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
- Develop clear and concise reports and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators and improvement progress (forecast accuracy, prod.
- Maintain and update production and procurement parameters in the planning software, including lead times, lot sizes, and sourcing rules, to support accurate planning and execution.
- Maintain and regularly review safety stock parameters in the planning software to ensure appropriate inventory buffers are in place, supporting service level targets and minimizing stockouts.
- Maintain and update calendar data in the planning software, ensuring accurate planning schedules, lead times, and production cycles to support efficient supply chain operations.
- Set up new SKUs in the planning software, ensuring accurate flow of item master data information from SAP, entering planning parameters, and other supply chain attributes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data discrepancies, working with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Support and lead special projects focused on improving OTIF performance, inventory management, forecast accuracy, and production planning efficiency across the supply chain.
- Manage purchase requirements and submit purchase orders to European and other third party suppliers, ensuring on-time, in-full delivery; collaborate with European teams on new projects and initiatives.
- Generate, analyse and distribute regular reports and dashboards to support supply chain visibility and decision-making.
- Participate in system testing, training, and documentation for new processes or updates.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data management processes and implement best practices.
- Stay informed on system updates and industry trends to ensure optimal use of planning tools.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply planning or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
- Experience with supply chain planning software (Blue Yonder, OMP).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with data visualization and analytics tools; Power BI preferred.
- Owner mindset, self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills with ability to present with confidence to all audiences
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cross departmental projects at the same time and understanding key milestones to achieving project goals
- Experience independently building financial models, analysing, and combining data sources from multiple systems.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or packaging industries.
- Familiarity with S&OP processes and supply chain KPIs.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
