Purpose of the role
The Digital Workplace System Administrator is a key member of the Global Digital Workplace team and is ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and solutions to the end users. The role involves troubleshooting complex issues for end-user computing, participating in projects, and liaising with stakeholders across the organization.
A key part of the role will also be to drive continuous improvement and support planning / execution of agreed roadmaps ensuring scoped platforms are kept up to date (ever-greening).
As an active member of the Trivium Infrastructure Team, which is owner of the complete Trivium infrastructure. Next to the IT department's responsibilities, the Operation Engineer will actively contribute to / advocate the Trivium Enterprise Architecture as well as Information security Principles.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide technical and implementation support for SharePoint, MS Teams, Active Directory, Entra ID, Teams Meeting Room Pro Portal, W365, PowerApps, PowerBI and Intune.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the infrastructure and ensure its availability, performance, and security.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex problems and provide second- and third-line support for end user computing issues.
- Participate in end user computing projects, such as migrations, upgrades, deployments, and integrations.
- Liaise with other IT teams and business units to ensure alignment and collaboration on end user computing initiatives.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis for recurring issues and proactively implement preventive measures to minimize future incidents.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement, innovation, and automation in end user computing.
This role will suit you if you have the following:
- Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Microsoft 365 administrator or similar role, preferably in an international distributed environment.
- In-depth knowledge of MS Teams and SharePoint.
- Advanced knowledge of end user computing technologies, such as Windows, Active Directory, Entra ID and Intune.
- Experience in working with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to take high level requirements and engineer solutions with minimum supervision
- Strong verbal and written English skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
