At Trivium Packaging, sustainability is more than a strategic priority—it is part of our DNA. We are looking for a Sustainability & LCA Analyst to join our Global Sustainability Team and support our VP Sustainability & R&D during a maternity leave period. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of Trivium's sustainability agenda, supporting global customers, commercial teams, and sustainability initiatives.

This is a fixed-term maternity cover assignment for 6–9 months, with an expected handover in October to ensure a smooth transition and training period with the current job holder.

What you'll do

  • Support customers and commercial teams with sustainability data and insights
  • Coordinate ESG questionnaires, audits, and sustainability inquiries
  • Contribute to ESG reporting and sustainability disclosures
  • Maintain sustainability databases, emission factors, and environmental data
  • Develop customer-facing sustainability presentations, training, and communication materials
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across Sustainability, Commercial, Supply Chain, HR, HSE, and Regulatory Affairs

What we're looking for

  • Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Around 2–3 years of professional experience
  • Solid understanding of Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and the science behind environmental impact measurement
  • Knowledge of carbon footprinting, ESG reporting, and sustainability regulations
  • Strong analytical and data-management skills, including advanced Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical topics into clear business messages
  • Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented mindset

Why this role?

This position is an excellent opportunity for an early-career sustainability professional looking to accelerate their development in a global organization.

What makes this role particularly attractive:

  • Exposure to a broad range of sustainability topics including ESG reporting, carbon footprinting, circular economy, customer engagement, and sustainability strategy
  • Opportunity to work as a trusted partner to the VP Sustainability & R&D and gain visibility across the global organization
  • Highly international environment with colleagues and stakeholders across Europe, North America, and South America
  • Flexible working model within our European footprint, with Hungary preferred due to team proximity and cost considerations
  • A passionate and collaborative sustainability team dedicated to making a real impact
