Purpose of the role: 

 

For the ComEx, Strategy and Business Development team, we are looking to recruit a high potential senior analyst based in Budapest. The senior analyst will work with VPs, Sales Directors, and Account Managers on a variety of initiatives like pricing and quoting, CRM / Quote Tool implementation, customer deal negotiation, account planning, or commercial strategy. This is a great place to learn the business and the degree of internal visibility is high. The role consists of approximately 75% analysis & plan making and 25% influencing and engaging people all over Europe. 

 

This is an excellent growth opportunity for talented and aspiring business professionals with 2-5 years of relevant work experience. 

 

 

Your responsibilities: 

 

  • Commercial Strategy – you help define and optimize Trivium’s commercial and pricing strategy, by analyzing and modelling market trends, customer product portfolio and profitability, and how our customers are contracted. You help set the right pricing strategy and target prices, per product and market 
  • Negotiation Support – you support our annual contract renegotiations by analyzing our cost changes and helping set our price increases. You also facilitate the renegotiation process, and support Sales with their deal negotiations and with communicating our commercial strategy to our customers.  
  • Pricing – you help drive profitability by optimizing and implementing Trivium’s latest pricing models and guidelines, in close collaboration with our Sales teams  
  • Margin leakers – you help Sales identify margin leakers and address these with our customers 
  • Quote Tool – you drive the implementation of state-of-the-art Pricing Software. You prepare the data loads, and provide support to the users of the tool 
  • Business Partner – you act as a business partner to our Sales teams, and provide support with pricing, quoting, negotiations, addressing margin leakers – building on your understanding of the business  
  • Business & process analysis – you will be supporting key improvement initiatives by providing data-driven business insights to facilitate decision making 

 

 

This role will suit you if you have the following:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree – preferably in Business / Economics or in Engineering / Exact Sciences 
  • 2-5 years experience in a (business) analyst or similar role in corporate environment  
  • Considerable drive and energy, self-driven 
  • Ability to work in a less structured / fast-paced environment 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills 
  • Keen eye for detail 
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel. Experience with e.g. Alteryx, R or Python, is a pre 
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint 
  • Good project management and people skills 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Fluency in English and preferably one other main European language
