Purpose of the role: 

 

This role is responsible for: GR/IR reconciliation; creating and analyzing monthly reports; supporting BS account reconciliations; leading/managing monthly closing activities; communication with internal stakeholders and external clients; training of accountants; managing AP audit process; handling special vendor portfolio; checking posting quality; reporting and reconciliation of all accounts under AP responsibility.

While doing these duties, the AP analyst ensures that it is in compliance with the professional legal practices and standards, and also with the organization's policies and procedures. Work cross functionally to ensure accurate and controlled financial data.

 

Your responsibilities: 

 

  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, internal/external controls, audit requirements, and confidentiality standards
  • Support audits and maintain proper documentation and record-keeping practices
  • Prepare cash forecasts and monitor posting quality
  • Reconcile vendor statements and GR/IR accounts, resolve aged items, and report open balances for closing
  • Coordinate and execute month-, quarter-, and year-end closing tasks (accruals, clearing, reconciliations) using Blackline
  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and lead or support AP-related projects
  • Monitor and meet KPIs and SLAs, ensuring timely and accurate task execution and follow-up on open items
  • Train and mentor team members, maintain and update work instructions, and ensure coverage during absences
  • Act as back-up for AP Supervisor and serve as a role model within the team
  • Confidently use SAP, Rhiza, Blackline, and OCR tools, and apply Company Chart of Accounts logic 

 

This role will suit you if you have the following:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 4 years of work experience in a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide strong customer service.
  • Fluency in English and any other European language (as per required in role).
  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
  • Proficient ERP (SAP) accounting experience is required.
  • Confident user of an OCR Tool.
  • Experience in working Blackline.
  • Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work well independently and resolve complex problems using a high degree of business management and team building skills, and effectively coordinate others.
  • Ability to communicate information in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain effective professional relationships across all functions.
  • Ability to manage high volume workload in fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
  • Demonstrated experience for working with employees/members in dealing with confidential issues.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Ability to stay professional in challenging situations.
