Purpose of the job:
The SAP FICO specialist is responsible for the SAP-ECC development/deployment, configuring the SAP-ECC systems, supporting the (Key) User organization and resolving reported SAP-ECC issues in the functional domain of Finance. The SAP FICO specialist will play a pivotal role in streamlining the financial processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maximizing the benefits of SAP FICO for the organization.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Supporting the SAP-ECC optimization and deployment activities.
- Support to the financial processes regarding Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Asset Accounting.
- Handle the Business Blueprint Documents and/or the Function Design Documents for new functional developments, based on functional requirements
- Based on these business/functional design documents, the SAP FICO specialist will do the SAP configuration and/or manage the 3rd party partner. These configurations need to be properly documented according to corporate guidelines.
- Within the functional domain, support the integration from SAP with other (non-)sap systems. Including integration through corporate middleware solutions (e.g., xSuite, HFM, BW).
- The SAP FICO specialist will work closely together with our Shared Service Center
This role will suit you if you have the following:
- Experienced with leadership in a distributed (and virtual) environment.
- Ability to shift gears between strategy and operations.
- Strong in stakeholder management
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English is mandatory).
- Good interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various hierarchical levels.
- Experience with SAP-GL, SAL-AR, SAP-AP, SAP asset accounting and SAP bank accounting is required. Experience with other SAP modules is a plus.
- Hard-working, committed and flexible.

- High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision, while resilient to change.
