SAP Basis Consultant

Role summary

Reporting to the SAP Technical Application Maintenance (TAM) Manager, the SAP BASIS Consultant is responsible for execution of Technical Maintenance and Security & Authorization of all our SAP systems. Working together with other SAP BASIS consultants and our partner for User Management. 

Specific responsibilities:

SAP Basis Activities:

-    Execution of SAP Basis activities on all our SAP systems/instances (20+ in total)
-    Manage SAP Transports
-    SAP Printer Management
-    Batch Job administration (Solution Manager Monitoring)
-    Participate in the planning and implementation of new SAP solutions / SAP Application according to agreed specifications and quality criteria.
-    Installation of OSS notes
-    Enhancement and Service Pack Upgrades
-    System Refresh
-    Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and availability of our SAP systems
-    Develop and maintain documentation related to SAP Basis activities

Security and Authorization:

-    Execute Security & Authorization activities on all of our SAP systems/instances
-    Together with Business Function Champions, define the security structure
-    Create roles and assign authorizations
-    3rd line support for SAP security issues
-    Work closely with outsourcing partner for day-to-day management of User Management

User Support and Collaboration:

-    Provide support to end-users and assist with user access management
-    Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to resolve system issues

Release Management:

-    Execution of Release Management Process (ChaRM Release Process)
-    Execute our 12 months rolling SAP Maintenance Schedule

Collaboration and Compliance:

-    Work closely with Trivium Security Department, Trivium Internal control, Internal and External auditors
-    Execute ITGC on applicable SAP systems
-    Execute Trivium Security Policies into SAP Security Guidelines & Policies
-    Work with auditors on providing required material towards auditors

Infrastructure Management:

-    Work closely with Infrastructure Team and our Data Centers
-    Installing and configuring SAP database servers and app servers
-    Maximize system availability and performance (Tuning)
-    Load balancing on servers
-    Performance management of different components (Monitoring)
-    SAP Backup and Restore

Experience

-    At least 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration (R/3 Must have and S/4 Nice to have)
-    Experience in SAP ECC (Must have), HCM, BW, Solution Manager, SAP Portal, and SAP FIORI
-    Experience in SAP security (Nice to have) and authorization management notion about CUA / GRC (Must have)
-    Experience in managing large-scale SAP systems
