Purpose of the role: 

 

The Procurement Process Improvement Manager role plays a critical part in shaping and executing the global procurement transformation agenda. This role is responsible for leading complex Procurement and cross-functional initiatives that enhance procurement processes, ensure data integrity, and drive digital enablement. Acting as the strategic interface between Procurement, IT and Master Data team, the role ensures that technology solutions are aligned with operational needs and that global teams are equipped and empowered to adopt them effectively.

Your responsibilities: 

 

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

 

  • Lead the design and execution of global procurement process improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategy and operational efficiency goals.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and propose scalable, standardized solutions to enhance procurement performance.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, and best practices to support continuous improvement.

Data Governance & Quality Management

 

  • Coordinate with Master data team on data cleansing, data quality, and other material and vendor master data improvement initiatives.
  • Enforce data governance standards defined by Master Data team for supplier and material master data across systems and geographies within global Procurement.
  • Monitor data quality KPIs and lead remediation efforts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with Master Data team, Data owners, data Analysts, data stewards and BI CoE team to implement controls and validation mechanisms that support high-quality data.

 

Digital Transformation & Tool Enablement

 

  • Be the primary liaison between Procurement and IT to translate business needs into system requirements and ensure successful delivery of digital solutions.
  • Act as business lead and main focal point within Procurement for implementation and continuous improvement of functional tools (e.g., ERP, e-sourcing, contract management, analytics platforms).
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance procurement capabilities.

Change Management & Global Adoption

 

  • Develop and execute change management strategies to drive global adoption of new tools and processes.
  • Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and user guides to build digital fluency and process understanding across procurement teams.
  • Act as a change ambassador, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Be a Continuous improvement champion to identify process improvement areas, eliminate exceptions and drive transactional efficiency within the Procurement processes

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

 

  • Partner with key stakeholders in Sustainability, Supply Chain, Finance, Master Data, IT and other functions to support the implementation of cross-functional initiatives.
  • Represent Procurement in enterprise-wide forums and working groups focused on digital transformation, ESG compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Support alignment of procurement initiatives with broader organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

 

This role will suit you if you have the following:

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, operations, or transformation roles, with a strong track record of leading cross-functional projects in a global environment.
  • Deep understanding of procurement processes, data governance,
  • Proven experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP), procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa), and data analytics tools (e.g PowerBI).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive results through influence.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
  • Experience in Procurement digital transformation is a plus
  • Fluent in English, additional languages is a plus

  • Solid MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) skills
  • Languages: Fluency in English is a must
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Ariba, Coupa) is a benefit
