Purpose of the role: 

 

The role will Support the indirect procurement department by collaborating with the indirect buyers in their daily administrative tasks, preparing suppliers negotiations (data collection, ppt, reporting activities). The aim of the role it is to give the intern the opportunity to get familiar with a professional environment and how an organization operates, gather practical experience, skills and identify potential career directions.

This role reports to the Procurement Team Leader.

This role will be based in Budapest.

 

Your responsibilities: 

 

  • Rolling out request for quotes to suppliers, evaluating incoming supplier offers and
  • finalize with the best offer for PO issuance
  • Supporting the Buyer in the preparation of supplier negotiations with the local supplier base for achieving the best price, lead time, payment terms combination along with the General Terms & Conditions
  • Addressing invoice discrepancies, price mismatches between PO and invoice
  • Checking the vendor master by reviewing the completeness of the required documentation required during the supplier onboarding
  • Supporting the buyers in the implementation of the category strategies and tender results across the organization
  • Ensuring that new contract terms such as prices, payment terms are reflected in the
  • ERP systems as well as in the annual orders, blanket PO-s, and in the ERP vendor
  • master
  • Supporting the department in fulfilling and optimizing administrative tasks  
  • Supporting ad hoc requests for data analysis, metrics generation

 

 

 

This role will suit you if you have the following:

 

  • Active College or University student in the faculty of Finance, Business Management, Legal, Supply Chain
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English is a must, preferred to have a 2nd language such as German, Dutch, Italian, Polish, Czech or French
  • Basic Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Ariba, Coupa)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills desired
  • PowerPoint skills is a plus
  • Reporting PowerBI / Tableau or any other data reporting experience is a plus
