Purpose of the role: 

 

The HR Functional Specialist plays a critical role in advancing the global digital transformation of HR processes. This position focuses on simplifying, standardizing, and automating processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce administrative burdens. Key responsibilities include ensuring optimal functioning of Global HR / IT Systems, fostering data governance, delivering actionable insights through analytics, and driving process and system improvements.

 

This role involves close collaboration with HR and IT teams worldwide, adherence to global data protection standards, and active participation in global projects. By championing best practices and aligning technological solutions with business objectives, the HR Functional Specialist contributes to delivering a seamless and innovative employee experience.

 

 

Your responsibilities: 

 

  • Collaboration with HR an IT Teams: Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and global teams to gather requirements, identify challenges, and propose system and process improvements.
  • System Management: Maintain and enhance HR Global Systems, including configuration, integration, and testing to meet evolving business needs.
  • Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, security, and GDPR compliance, and promote best practices for data management across HR systems.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Using dashboards and reports to provide insights on key metrics for Global HR Systems.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to standardize and optimize IT HR processes globally, with a focus on automation and scalability.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide support for HR systems, including troubleshooting, training, and managing system updates.
  • Documentation and Change Management: Prepare detailed documentation and drive change management activities related to system enhancements and process updates.
  • Stakeholder and Project Management: Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely issue resolution and alignment on global HR projects.

 

 

This role will suit you if you have the following:

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field is required.
  • Fluency in English, any other language is a plus.
  • Relevant experience working with Global HR / IT Systems.
  • Experience in managing system integrations and provide functional support.
  • Experience working in a ticket-based service delivery model, with external vendors and third-party consultants.
  • Working knowledge of GDPR compliance and data governance best practices.
  • Understanding of core HR processes.
