Purpose of the job: 

The Solution Architect Digital Workplace is a key member of the Digital Workplace team and is responsible for driving the future architecture and design of the Digital Workplace platform/solution. The Solution Architect is responsible for the definition and maintenance of the architecture and roadmap of the platform/solution, always ensuring full risk and security compliance.
The Solution Architect reports to the manager Digital Workplace and is an active member of the Trivium Enterprise Architecture Community, which integrates all Solution- and Domain architects across all departments. Next to the IT department's responsibilities, the Solution Architect is part and obligated to work under the Trivium Enterprise Architecture Governance. 

 

Your responsibilities: 

  • Defines and maintains the platform/solution roadmap
  • Display rigorous design methodology that consistently yields the right level of technical design documentation and develops cost-efficient technological solutions that conform both to customer requirements and solution development standards.
  • Ensure the platform/solution compliance with the Trivium Enterprise Architecture, Automation, and Security standards, policies, and principles.
  • Actively contribute to the Trivium Enterprise Architecture community and under the Architecture Governance.
  • Hands-on development may be required to demonstrate component selection and prototyping.
  • Ability to act as a key project/agile team member and provide leadership and ownership in platform/solution design, development and project execution.
  • Assist in problem resolution and support other IT Teams through consultation and problem research
  • Utilize understanding of industry solution trends to innovate and provide new project/product ideas within the platform/solution lifecycle
  • Communicate solution concepts to all levels of management

 

Skills that you make you successful in the role: 

  • Strong technical fluency, ability to manage stakeholders from a different technical background 
  • At least 5 yrs. experience and proven extensive knowledge in the platform/solution as Architect in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with all elements of change, project, and agile management in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in developing project scoping and scaling deliverables
  • Experience in all aspects of data management, including integration, data modelling and data quality management
  • Experience in applying and maintaining information security standards, frameworks and controls
  • Proven capability to work independently and manage multiple, competing demands
  • Able to take high level requirements and develop solutions architecture with minimum supervision
  • Strong relationship development with all primary and secondary stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong English verbal and written presentation skills 
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management, influencing, and storytelling
  • Requirements management and development 

 

3-5 years of experience with:

  • Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD client management, AzureAD, SCCM, Intune, Windows 10/11 OS imaging/deployment with SCCM and/or Autopilot
  • Application packaging and deployments methodologies in a Hybrid AzureAD environment

Nice to have: 

  • MEM/MDM/MAM
  • M365  and Azure stack for endpoint services and management/reporting
  • VDI technologies, focus on Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop and thin clients (eg. iGel)
  • General enterprise grade client and collaboration (videoconferencing) hardware management
  • BYOD/CYOD device deployment methodologies
