Purpose of the role: 

 

The Financial Reporting Analyst ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting

within the organization. The role requires a deep understanding of financial reporting standards, company policies, and industry regulations. Plays a crucial part in providing stakeholders with reliable

and relevant financial information for decision-making, compliance, and strategic planning purposes. Responsible for managing and executing various reporting activities, involved in forecasting,

budgeting, variance analysis, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The individual collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and ensure

accurate and timely reporting.

 

Your responsibilities: 

 

  • analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, anomalies and advise on adjustments
  • manage reporting to HFM, eliminate validation errors
  • participate in internal and external audits
  • perform financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities
  • analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • assist in the preparation of ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information and ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • assist in the preparation of presentations for management and stakeholders
  • assist in the implementation of new accounting standards or regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and adherence to reporting deadlines
  • maintain documentation and supporting schedules for financial reports, ensuring transparency and auditability
  • review account reconciliations
  • assistance in preparation of analysis of accounts as requested
  • proactively come up with new ideas
  • drive standardization efforts, actively participates in projects
  • manage projects alone
  • ensure timely processing of assigned tasks in accordance with Closing and Reporting Calendar
  • forecast and budget accuracy
  • cost control efficiency

This role will suit you if you have the following:

 

  • 5+ years in Accounting / Finance
  • experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
  • knowledge of accounting principles and practices is required
  • knowledge of finance principles is required
  • knowledge of financial reporting is required
  • solid ERP (SAP) accounting experience is required
  • consolidation tool (HFM) experience is required
  • fluency in English, Other European language is an advantage
