Trivium wants to shape the industry and has embarked on an ambitious transformation journey. In the near term, focus is on building & upskilling the team, deciding where to play & how to win, and increasing financial performance by executing the Trivium Business System (commercial, operational, and supply chain excellence).
 

Trivium is driving a large-scale business transformation across her core functions. These transformation programs require strong support from IT to implement new more data-driven decision-making, gain better insights in performance, standardize- and simplify processes and supporting systems, and automate & digitalize processes. Trivium Global IT is responsible for all IT being used across Trivium. A new department is set-up within Global IT to primarily focus on providing the required Data & Analytics, Digital, and Automation solutions to support Trivium’s transformation. This department is partly created by the existing BI team, partly with to be recruited additional data & analytics, automation, and integration experts. The new Director Data & Digital will lead the build-up and management of this new department and will work closely with the responsible business transformation teams to define and prioritize their requirements. The new Director Data & Digital will also introduce an Agile way of working and implement Trivium’s Agile Delivery methodology for all Data & Analytics, Automation, and Digital related products to be delivered.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Set-up new Data & Digital department, containing:
    • Data & Analytics team (incl. current BI team + new recruits)
    • Automation team (Power Platform + ServiceNow – all new recruits)
    • Integrations (e.g. API management, data integration platform – new recruits)
  • Define and maintain overall data & analytics and automation roadmap
  • Manage the team of Product Owners, Solution Architects, and (outsourced) developers
  • Build- and maintain strong working relationship with Trivium’s transformation teams across the various  business functions & divisions (EMEA + Americas)
  • Selecting and managing outsource vendors for DevOps delivery of data, analytics and automation solutions
  • Work closely together with key technology providers like ServiceNow, Microsoft (Data / Analytics / Power Platform part), Kafka
  • Responsible for defining, deploying and maintaining Trivium’s Agile Delivery Methodology
  • Manage the OPEX and CAPEX budget associated with Data, Analytics, and Automation / Digitalization
  • Part of Trivium’s Global IT Leadership Team and ‘owner’ of the data & analytics and automation/digitalization domain (design, build, run) in the Trivium IT Strategy

 

Skills that make you successful in the role: 

  • Master’s in Information Technology or related technical / business technology studies
  • Relevant courses in Data Architecture, Analytics, Automation
  • Proven track record of managing medium size team
  • Minimum 15 years relevant working experience, of which at least:
    • 3-5 years as department manager / team leader if international distributed teams
    • 3-5 years in Agile & DevOps based delivery
    • 10 years in Data & Analytics and Automation 
  • Experience in international industrial / manufacturing organizations
  • Experienced with Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, Power BI and preferably ServiceNow
  • Experienced with managing technology and outsourcing vendors
