Purpose of the role: This role is responsible for end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) function including invoice processing, verification, and payment, maintaining vendor data, supporting account reconciliations, communication with the business, external vendors, and internal functions. Actively participating the monthly closings and open item analysis. 

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Comply with internal and external controls, fiscal, tax, local and corporate requirements
  • Maintain accurate historical records
  • Review and verify invoices and employee expenses
  • Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable item
  • Sort, code, and match invoices
  • Enter and upload invoices into system
  • Set invoices up for payment
  • Prepare and perform batch payments
  • Prepare and perform manual payments
  • Rejected payment resolution.
  • Respond to inquiries coming from external vendors or internal functions
  • Actively participate in month-end closing activities
  • Support the reconciliation of accounts payable transactions
  • Produce monthly reports

This role will suit you if you have the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in accounting or finance
  • 2-8 years of relevant experience in accountancy / finance field 
  • Fluency in English and any other European language
  • Solid user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Solid knowledge and experience using ERP systems (SAP) is an advantage
  • Organization and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Vendor relationship skills
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
