The Opportunity

As a Plant Controller at Trivium Packaging you will provide dynamic insights and challenge the status quo to drive informed decision-making within both the plant and the broader Business Unit (BU). From ensuring the creation and review of all relevant reporting to acting as a strategic business partner for the plant team and BU, including key stakeholders like the Plant Manager, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and HR, your proactive approach will be essential. Together, we'll ensure that proper standard costs are not just implemented, but optimized for maximum efficiency and success.

 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver reliable and challenging Forecast / Budget / Long Range Plans for the plant
  • Ensure accurate and up to date standard costing is applied in the plant (annual update and weekly maintenance).
  • Timely deliver, review and comment reporting on a monthly basis to senior management (ECR, EBITDA, etc.)
  • Assist in making and challenging CARs in terms of comments, quotations, IRR and payback calculations.
  • Actively support continous business improvement request at plant level and BU level.
  • Have full ownership on the plant figures, both P&L and relevant Balance Sheet items

 

Education & Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance or related field 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP system, with SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent (an advantage).
  • English lanague skills

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in a competitive industry at a comparable finance level, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Project management experience
